  Continuing along the SS 197 road, just a few kilometres from Barumini, visitors come to Gesturi, a town known to nature enthusiasts all over the world because of the Giara. It is a natural oasis, rich in flora and fauna in danger of extinction, but above all famous for its wild ponies, the only remaining in Europe.
