La Mezzaluna

The Mezzaluna beach is characterised by the sheer cliff face which falls away to the sea below and is strewn numerous small grottoes.

It is the ideal place to drop anchor and have a swim and it is, in fact, the picturesque setting featured in the Omnitel 2001 commercial, where Megan Gayle dives into the limpid sea, only to reappear in the beautiful waters of Villasimius, in the Province of Cagliari.
