• 5th/6th - FESTA IN ONORE DELLA SS. TRINITÀ DI SACCARGIA - Codrongianos
  The festival is held at the SS. Trinità di Saccargia basilica (XII century), considered the most important example of Romanesque-Pisan art on the island, and involves both lay and religious ceremonies, which are held in honour of the SS. Trinità di Saccargia. The large church stands next to a magnificent bell-tower, which is over 40 metres tall. The church's beautiful chrome facade is exquisitely decorated and boasts an elegant arched portico. The central apse is enriched with by a series of marvellous frescoes from the XIII century. This artwork is particularly precious because it is the only example of medieval wall painting on the island.

  This rite takes place during the night of S. Giovanni. Everyone gathers around a big fire and in order to consolidate their most important friendships they jump over the fire.

  The Gremio of Piccapietre celebrate the festival in honour of their patron. The gremio's costume is made up of a black tail-coat, black trousers and a satin waistcoat. frac nero con coda a punte tonde, pantaloni neri e gilet di raso dello stesso colore. The chapel is at S.M. di Betlem.

• 13th - "PALIO DEI CANDELIERI" THE CANDLESTICK PROCESSION - Sassari
  Horses and jockeys from all over Sardinia compete in a race to win a standard with the colours of Sassari and the effigies of candlesticks.

• 14th - FIREWORKS AND FRIED FISH - Alghero
  The fireworks display takes place in the port along the the Busquet walkway. After the fireworks, fried fish for everyone.
