Land and Sea
- Alghero, Bosa
The coast road which runs from Alghero to Bosa (situated about 47
km from the town of Alghero) offers a breathtaking panorama of the
splendid sea and shoreline. Visitors are rewarded with a genuine picture
postcard which never fails to stir up great emotions. The coast is
characterised by long stretches of dramatic, sheer cliffs, which drop
down to the sea below and hills of magnificently shaped rocks, which
change colour depending on the sun's reflections.
Near Capo Marrargiu it is also possible to catch sight of griffins
as they circle high above in the sky. The town of Bosa lies further
along this road, nestling in a wild, unspoilt environment, which,
for long stretches is completely uninhabited. It is a sleepy, coastal
town which offers visitors a chance to see characteristics which are
unique to Sardinia.
