When you wake up in the morning you can enjoy the view of the ships entering the port and watch the people coming and going and the many birds resting in the flamboyant magnolias and palm trees in the nearby park.

From the hall of our apartment in an elegant 19th century palace, as you enjoy your breakfast you will observe the seagulls drifting high in the sky yet the pulsing heart of  Sardinia’s main city.

Take time to think what you want to visit; monuments? museums ? or organize a trip inland to discover the famous nuraghe ruins built some  3200 years ago.

You will definitely want to visit the large natural white sandy Poetto beach that you can easily reach by bus  in 10 minutes. If you get there by car  you can also go to visit the treasures  of the southern coast  with the little rocky and sandy coves.

Also think of a number of other activities: diving, racing on the crest of the waves with your windsurfing board, exploring the depths of the Sulcis area  or just simply admiring the animals roaming in the WWF oasis of Monte Arcosu or the Montelargius pond.

If you fancy a day trip and you are nautically inclined, hop on a sailing-boat awaiting you at the dock for a tour of the blue Sardinian sea.
