Rada di Mezzo Schifo Beach
Rada
di Mezzo Schifo lies to the right of Porto Raphael. The word "schifo"
means "boat" in Sardinian dialect. It is a small beach of
fine, white sand, which lies before an emerald-green sea.
Besides its rare beauty, the beach is famous because in 1803 Admiral
Nelson dropped anchor in this sheltered inlet as he waited to attack
the French naval fleet.
