Grotta del Bue Marino (Dorgali)

The famous grotto gets its name from the Sardinian word for the Monk
Seal, a mammal which up until recently inhabited the cave.
This grotto lies near Cala Gonone and is only accessible by boat. Inside,
visitors are greeted with an extraordinary spectacle of chambers and
striking, almost surreal, landscapes.
There are marvellous formations of stalagmites and stalactites, which
are reflected in the numerous beautiful lakes.
