Grotte Sa Oche - Su Bentu - Grotta Corbeddu (Oliena)

Grotte di Sa OcheThe caves are situated in the valley of Lanaittu in Oliena. The grottoes of Sa Oche and Su Bentu (the voice and the wind) are in Karst; the former boasts a number of underground lakes, whilst the latter, over 7,000 m. long, is one of the longest caves in Italy.

Instead, the grotto of Corbeddu is famous because traces of human life were found there which date back to 10,000 B.C., as well as the remains of a pre-historic deer which lived about 30,000 years ago.
