Grotta Ispinigoli (Dorgali)

Visitors should follow the road which leads from Dorgali to Orosei. This grotto is over 40 m. high and, inside, it is dominated by the magnificent stalactite/stalagmite 38 m. high (one of the tallest in the world).

The cavity inside the grotto is known as the "Antro delle Vergini", a name which derives from the fact that human sacrifices were practised here in pre-historic times.
