The Arrubiu Nuraghe

This is the largest Nuragic structure on the entire island. It is shaped like an enormous castle, with three main structures: the central tower, which is connected to the surrounding five towers by the outer defence wall.

Recent archaeological excavation work has revealed that the village was also inhabited during the Roman era. In fact, important remains, such as millstones and grape and olive pressing instruments, have been uncovered from this later historic period.
