  The territory abounds in places of exceptional beauty, where unspoilt natural environments reveal treasures which are often unique to the region: the springs of Cologone, the valley of Lanaittu and the "ghost" town of Tiscali, situated deep inside the heart of the mountain.
  
  
• Dorgali
  The town is noted for its marvellous beaches and for the cave known as Grotta del Bue Marino, The territory of Dorgali presents a vast archaeological patrimony of great value. Visitors must not miss the village of Serra Orrios, the giants' tomb of S'Ena de Thomes, the dolmen of Motorra and the numerous 'domus de janas' (fairy houses).
  The landscape of the district of Dorgali is exceptionally varied. The town is dominated by the mountains of Bardia and Tului, whilst the nearby Monte Ispingoli boasts a fascinating grotto of the same name. Visitors should also take a trip to the extraordinary Gorroppu gorge, an impressive ravine, with towering walls, which penetrates the mountains of the 'Supramonte' (Highlands) between Orgosolo and Urzulei.
