Diving in Sardinia - Oristano
The coastline of the Oristano district, like that of the whole island,
is exceptionally varied and changes not just from one area to the next,
but even just a few hundred metres further along the coast.
The transparent water is ideal for diving and enthusiasts are presented
with an endless choice of dives. The underwater landscape offers both
old and recent shipwrecks, reefs abounding in lobsters and groupers,
as well as various fascinating remains, from the Roman amphora to the
cannons of Spanish ships.
Visitors should not miss the nature park on the Island
of Mal di Ventre, where they can a dmire
numerous species of fish. This beautiful island is also noted for the
amazing colour of its water and the splendid rock formations, sculptured
by the wind.
