Is Aruttas Beach


The Sinis Peninsular boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia: Is Aruttas.

This beach is characterised by the brilliant white of the quartz grains, smoothed by the waves, and by its emerald-green sea.

The beach also rewards visitors with splendid panoramas: isola di Maldiventre, an island which lies towards the horizon, and Capo San Marco,
to the south.

Besides the beauty of the panoramas and the beach, we must not forget the ruins of Tharros, the church of San Giovanni and the San Giovanni bathing area, characterised by the sedge-wood huts known as "barraccas de cruccuri", built by fishermen and originally used for the storage of fishing materials.
