Isola Maldiventre
The
island is a uniform shape, covered in bushes and inhabited by rabbits
and marine birds. Its geological composition is particularly interesting
because it is made up of granite rock, as opposed to the limestone which
constitutes the Sardinian coast facing it.
The beaches on this small island are very beautiful and surrounded by
incredibly transparent water, above all on the east side facing the
coast of Sardinia. Among these splendid beaches the most noted are:
Cala del Pontile, Cala Nord-Est, Cala del Nuraghe, and Cala dei Pastori.

A stroll along the shores offers visitors the chance to discover the
many charming corners of this island, with its small bays and the magnificent
colour of the transparent water. The incredible sky-blue colour is,
in fact, due to the sand, which is made up of translucent granules,
identical to those of the beach of Is Aruttas on the nearby Sardinian
coast.
