Spiaggia di Torre Grande
The beach known as 'Torre Grande' gets its name from the majestic
tower which can be seen there. It is unquestionably one of the most impressive
of the towers built during Spanish dominion, at the end of the sixteenth
century, in defence against pirate invasions.
It is a long expanse of fine, white sand, immersed in Mediterranean scrub
land. The deep, transparent water is a beautiful shade of green. The beach
is equipped with all the necessary services and never gets overcrowded,
even in high season.
