The Lagoons of Torre Salinas and Colostrai


Visitors should follow the SS 125 road and turn off after about 56km, at the junction for Torre Salinas.
The road winds round the first lagoon, home to colonies of pink flamingos, and then a turning on the right leads to the Colostrai lagoon.

The area is of great natural interest and can be enjoyed on foot along the banks of the lagoon, from where nature lovers are rewarded with spectacles of herons, scoopers, cormorants, pink flamingos, stilt-birds and duckers.

The whole environment is a paradise for bird-watching enthusiasts.
