Trekking in Sardinia - Sarrabus Gerrei


The geography of the Sarrabus district makes it the ideal place for trekking and nature walks.
Among the many fascinating walks to choose from we particularly recommend:

• An Excursion to Monti dei Sette Fratelli
  The excursion starts from the valley of De Su Giogadroxu and includes the Tullinu springs, the lagoon environments of S.Giovanni and finally the splendid beaches of Costa Rey. The last part of this marvellous route unwinds between impressive granite summits covered in moss and lichen bushes.

• The Minniminni Forest
  Following the original path made by the convicts of an old penal colony, visitors arrive at the summit of Monte Minniminni and are rewarded with a splendid panorama of the Castiadas and Villasimius coastline stretching out before them.
  

• An Excursion to S'Acqua Callenti
  Sabadi and its surroundings offer visitors the chance to admire, among other things, the Arcu Pintau Nuraghe, a coal station, which has been completely restored, beautiful panoramic views and numerous pure water springs, which branch away from the Rio S'Acqua Callenti river as it descends the hillside.
