Wines
The Sarrabus district is well known for its fine wines. Besides
the famous Monica di Sardegna and Vermentino
di Sardegna, there is also the celebrated Cannonau
di Sardegna D.O.C. Capo Ferrato.
It is produced with the finest quality grapes, harvested just
at the right moment so that the maceration process produces a
full-bodied wine. The grapes are harvested, the stalks are removed
and then they are left to macerate for a few days in their skins.
The wine is then decanted in oak barrels and left to mature.
