The Grotto of S. Giovanni (Domusnovas)


This grotto is the only one in Italy which can be visited by car. In fact, a tarmac road, about 850m long, takes visitors right through this splendid natural gallery.

Beyond the exit, to the north of the grotto, beautiful woods stretch into the distance and are scattered with the suggestive remains of disused mines.
